Apple Restart Solar Plan, Solar Battery Time Coming?

As we all know, we can hardly tell some shortage of iPhone and other Apple devices on the hardware, except the battery limit. Although half of the reason is we love them to much, so the batteries are never enough. However, that might be changed if Apple develops solar battery. Now all these might be come true.

Macrumors just reports that Apple has become the owner of domain name iPodSolar.com according to the information from the WHOIS registry, which currently redirects to Apple's iPod site. Apple appears to have registered the domain as long ago as early 2007, but the domain was managing by agent company MarkMonitor. It really makes us curious about whether Apple will have a big action on solar application.

Coincidentally, Patently Apple reports that Apple was just today awarded a patent for a power management system that would enable the company to place solar cells on the exterior of devices such as iPods and integrate that power source with an internal battery.

Yesterday we reported a solar battery case for iPhone 4, but it still a to iPhone. It will be perfect if Apple designes the solar surface of iPhone.
